Government Covid-19 update

Dear Students,

Spring is around the corner and at Express English College here in Manchester we feel full of energy to continue doing what we do best, offering high quality English Lessons (face to face and online) and the best learning resources and platforms on the market.

We have wonderful news for you and the whole sector. The British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, announced on the 4th of March the plan to end COVID19 the lockdown in England.  International travel  should be possible after 17th May, but restrictions on people meeting are being lifted in stages from 8th March. In its roadmap for easing restrictions, the UK government announced a review of travel which will report on April 12th with recommendations about how international travel should resume, while managing the risks of new variants of coronavirus. Of course, our students’ safety and the ability for them to study in a healthy environment are our number one priority, but with the ongoing vaccination programme and the lifting on many of the restrictions, our students should be able to start coming to the UK in the next few months while staying safe. We are looking forward to welcoming them to EEC’s modern school premises in Manchester.

We are also looking forward to seeing the city full of international students with great expectations this summer, willing to discover Manchester and travel around the UK. Our school is proud of being internationally recognized and of welcoming students from around the world. They believe in our expertise and teaching methodology as the best tools to them achieve their dreams.

The UK has a lot to offer to people who love nature, art, music, gastronomy and tradition. It is a perfect destination to combine high-quality learning with holidays or take a gap year full of entertaining activities – look at our website to find out more about our social program.
